Its Founder, Gerry Udell, established Gerry Udell, Inc. in 1961. Prior to this, he worked many years for a large manufacturer. When he started the company, Gerry spent five out of six weeks on the road as a “One Man Show,” covering the entire Northeast.
Gerry’s hard work and perseverance laid the foundation that the company is built on today. His professionalism and code of ethics will always remain the guiding light for the company. Upon Gerry’s passing, his two sons, Gary and Glenn assumed responsibility of the company. They are both actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Glenn’s son’s Gerry and Geoffrey are currently attending college and are working for the company part time. Gerry Udell, Inc. looks forward to this next generation joining the company in the near future! Gerry Udell, Inc., which is considered by many to be the number one sales agency in the Northeast, has grown to nine full time people that are solely dedicated to sales in the Northeast. The company is proud to represent some of the most well-known and prestigious manufacturers in the country.
Over the years, Gerry Udell, Inc. has won numerous sales and marketing awards and is proud to have pioneered many of today's successful products. Both Gary and Glenn are well known and respected figures in the industry. Gary is the only Northeast Rep to ever serve on the board of directors of the Beauty and Barber Supply Institute. Gary currently is the only Professional Beauty Rep in the country to be serving on the industry's Manufacturer's Leadership Council along side other distinguished leaders from such companies as: Shiseido, Clairol, OPI, Wella, L'Oreal, Colomer USA and Scruples.
